Compilation Albums

About Compilations

Labels release compilation albums on Spotify to bring visibility to the entire catalogue, expand the reach of artists and expose listeners to both their best-selling artists and their not-so-best-selling artists.

In the examples right – East Highway 1985 & Heartbreak Hotel – have brought considerable exposure to the artists in the compilation. DL Down3r has benefited from this collaboration.

WHY Compilations
  1. Increased Exposure: Reach new audiences and gain exposure you may not have otherwise received. By featuring alongside other artists, you can attract new fans, expand your reach and build your following.
  2. Networking Opportunities: Collaborating with other artists on a compilation can provide opportunities for networking and building relations- hips within the industry. This can lead to future collaborations, gigs, and other opportunities.
  3. Marketing and Promotion: Compilations are an effective marketing and promotional tool for your music. We use compilations to promote your work to a wider audience and help build your brand. Compilations work to boost sales for both best-selling artists and not-so-best-selling artists.
  4. Revenue Opportunities: Participating in a compilation can provide you with revenue opportunities. You will receive royalties or other compen- sation for your contribution.
  5. Creative Inspiration: Collaborating with other artists on a compila- tion can provide inspiration and new ideas. It can also help you to develop skills and grow as artists.
