Forest Hall

Forest Hall began in the quiet, leafy pockets and coastal backwaters of New South Wales, where space and stillness shaped their early sound—catchy DIY garage pop built from instinct as much as intention. But for this Sydney outfit, the “garage” was never a destination, just a launch point.

Since those first recordings, their music has steadily expanded outward. What started as lo-fi immediacy has grown into something far more textured and unpredictable—songs that stretch, shift, and pull from a wide palette of influences without settling into any one lane. That evolution came into focus on their 2023 debut album, You’ll Take On The World, a restless, genre-blurring record that hinted at just how far they could go.

Rather than retrace their steps, Forest Hall have spent the years since pushing deeper—refining their songwriting, widening their sonic scope, and leaning into experimentation without losing their core identity. That momentum leads into their most ambitious project yet. Set for release in 2026, 2066 is a sprawling double album that brings every side of the band into sharp relief—melding garage roots with classic rock,

grunge, and post-punk into something cohesive and distinctly their own. It’s a record that captures Forest Hall in motion: evolving, searching, and fully committed to the long road ahead.
